About JC Sim Supplies
I started sim racing during lockdown and as is normally the case, I ended up upgrading most aspects of my setup very quickly. By 2022 there were certain things that I wanted, but the available options just weren't right. This was the beginning of JC Sim Supplies.
Never afraid to put my hand to anything, I bought my first 3D printer and started designing the products I wanted. I shared some of my creations with some fellow sim racing friends and things escalated from there.
After a launch in 2022 with predominantly 3D printed products, I took a year out after a hand injury that stopped me racing (and driving IRL!). I went back to my designs and started again, but with the vision to produce products in aluminium for a more premium feel that matched the rest of my racing setup.
My wheel hub idea was formed around my want for maximum immersion. I used to race MX-5s (back in my youth!) and wanted to have the same feel, using the same wheel. Around the same time I started working with another sim racing company and my work with them has further expanded my electronics design work.
My injury in 2023 also opened my eyes to what could have been, and the lack of options available for accessible racing. This will definitely be forming part of JC Sim Supplies moving forwards.
