Order Cancellation Policy

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which apply to distance selling (such as online purchases), you have the legal right to cancel your order during the "cancellation period" (also known as the "cooling off period").
Your right to cancel an order starts from the point of purchase to 14 days after you (or a third party who is not the delivery company) receive the order. If your order includes multiple items delivered on different days, the cancellation period will begin on the day you (or a third party who is not the delivery company) receive the final item in your order.
You do not need to provide us with a reason for cancelling your order.
If you wish to cancel your order before it has shipped please get in touch with us as soon as possible via email (support@jcsimsupplies.co.uk) and we will try to cancel your order prior to shipping and issue a full refund within 14 days of cancellation.
If you have placed an order, the order has shipped but has not yet been delivered, refuse it upon delivery and we will process the refund within 14 days of us receiving the item back.

Returns Policy

Should you feel the need to return an item please review our returns policy and get in touch:
- Our returns policy offers a 14-day 'cooling-off' period to notify us of a return.
- This 14-day 'cooling-off' return notification window starts from the day after you received your item.
- If 14 days have passed since the day after you received the item and you have not notified us about your intention to return the item, you are no longer eligible for a return/refund.
- You must have legal proof of purchase directly from JCSS (we do not accept returns of reseller’s products).
- Buyers are responsible for paying return postage costs. We strongly recommend you obtain proof of postage and consider using a tracked delivery service for returns.
Returns Eligibility:
For an item to be eligible under the 14-day 'cooling off' period for returns the product must be:
- in the same condition as which you received it
- unused
- undamaged
- not tampered with
- in a resalable condition
- in its original packaging with all included accessories and components
You are eligible for a return within the 14-day cooling off period if you open the packaging and inspect the product as you would in a physical shop. Any handling that goes beyond this will be deemed as diminishing the value of the goods and may impact the amount that is refunded. If the item has been used or installed (e.g. shows signs of installation such as marks from bolts), is damaged (e.g. scratched/scuffed) due to improper handling/repacking by the customer, the product packaging is damaged or there are missing items/components; we will make a partial refund/reasonable deduction (up to the value of the contract price) to cover the diminished value of the product. If the product is returned to us and it cannot be resold, this may impact your eligibility for a full or partial refund.

Alternatively, please email support@jcsimsupplies.co.uk preferably from the email address you used to submit your order. Please include your full name and order number and clearly state that this is an order cancellation during the cooling off period. Doing this will allow us to support with your return in a swift manner. - We will respond to give you a return number and confirm the returns address (this will usually be our trading address: c/o Store First, Ashroyd Business Park, Barnsley S74 9SB).
- Securely package your return in such a way to ensure it doesn’t get damaged in transit and that it arrive in original, undamaged condition. Please take care to repack the item carefully and provide adequate packing to return through the post so it meets the standard for a full refund. Use the original shipping box/packaging if possible.
- Post your item to us within 14 days of receiving the returns number/returns address confirmation.
- Buyers are responsible for paying the cost of postage to return the item. We strongly recommend you use a tracked/recorded postage method. We cannot be held responsible for items that are lost or damaged in transit back to us.
- We will inspect the item upon receipt.
- We’ll then get in touch with you to confirm your refund amount and that we’ve issued this.
Refunds After Returns
- We’ll issue a full or partial refund within 14 days of us receiving the item (or receiving proof of the return to us). Refunds (full or partial) will be processed without unnecessary delay.
- As long as there has not been excessive handling of the product beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functionality of the product, you should expect a full refund of the cost of the product plus the standard delivery cost of shipping the product(s) to you.
- If you paid for a more expensive delivery option that wasn’t standard shipping you will not be refunded the difference between the standard shipping cost and the more expensive delivery option.
- If we deem the item has a diminished value (for example due to damage by excessive handling or missing components) then a partial refund (up to the value of the contract price) will be issued. The amount deducted will be determined on a case-by-case basis, will not be excessive and will only seek to recover the diminished value of the contracted price.
- Refunds will be processed back via the same payment method as the original purchase.

Exchanges Policy

JCSS does not offer item exchanges. The fastest way to ensure you receive the item you want is to return the original item in your possession, wait until the return is confirmed/refund issued, then make a new purchase for the correct item.

Faulty Items

Having experienced the frustration of receiving faulty products myself, I completely understand how disappointing it can be. To try and limit this for JC Sim Supplies,we test all components and products. However, due to the nature of our products and the components we appreciate faults could occur.
We do genuinely care about our customers and want to do the right thing by you. If you have received a faulty product the best thing you can do is get in touch with us as a matter of urgency via email: support@jcsimsupplies.co.uk or using our web form:

Please note that with computers and sim racing hardware/peripherals many things can potentially cause issues. These can include, but are not limited to, software, drivers and other devices conflicting. We will try and help with these issues if they occur. However, these issues do not mean that a product is faulty and does not mean that a product can be returned under warranty.
